We started by looking at our audiences, Sheffield Pies has long been a staple stop off for both locals and tourists, whether they are passing through Sheffield or Oxford on route to the mountains. This gave them a particularly broad appeal, catering to all age demographics and all socio-economic segments.
We then got on board with our client, and as our brief expanded, a humorous approach was taken, reflecting the in-store customer experience. Working with the client to evolve a project is a true delight for a creative agency, and one that we relish.
Sheffield Pies were open and excited by the prospect of fresh and inventive ways of telling their story, and making the famous New Zealand pie a fun, rewarding experience for consumers, both old and new.
We developed a brand that reflected the humour and generosity of the staff at Sheffield Pies, working on all of the visual elements from menus, packaging and the website and interior and exterior signage, with a focus on creating a clean, modern feel that also made the pie shop feel boutique.
